♥.♥ OH BOY!! We’re meeting Cesar Millan! :D

A while back, best friend and I purchased tickets to Cesar Millan’s Live Tour in Singapore!
(read this post). We’ve been counting down the days until we meet The Dog Whisperer — 58 days to be exact! We’re finally down to the last few days before the big show. WhoooohoOoo! ❤ What a feeling! :D

From the moment we got the tickets, best friend and i thought about doing something special for Cesar.. :) Something to let him know that we appreciate him and the work he does :) The first thought that came to mind was to do a poster! One with Poppy’s little face all over. Lol. :D Best friend was all for it, and that was exactly what we did. :D 

We grabbed the materials from the Popular Bookstore, printed the photos at Fotohub, and got down to serious art & craft business. :D

This was the first thing we did. :} 

Draw up the “I ❤ You!” words, sprinkle red glitter on the heart, and cut up tiny photos of Poppy. :)
— Done!

What’s next…

What’s next was deciding the layout of the photos, and most importantly, the keywords/ phrases/ tags lines to include. :D After all, Cesar Millan’s got quite a few of his own! :D

We were deciding among these…

Balanced Dog = True friend
Calm, assertive energy.
Exercise, Discipline, Affection.
I rehabilitate dogs, I train people. I am the Dog Whisperer.
No touch, no talk, no eye contact.
Be the Pack Leader.
Rules, Boundaries, Limitations.
Shhh!

After bouncing off ideas with each other, this was what we decided and came up with :D

We were hoping that the image looks like Popcorn’s playing the role of The Dog Whisperer and saying the three keywords, “Exercise, Discipline, Affection”. :D

Exercise: Rollerblading with the pack. (“) (”)

Discipline: Shh! fingers :D

Affection: While Cesar gives affection to the puppies, Popcorn looks like she’s leaning towards Cesar, wanting some snugglies ♥ :}

We took a total of 8 hours to complete the poster. :) The toughest part was setting the loose glitter in place, and attempting to limit the mess in the dining hall! The table looked like kids had sprinkled glitter all across. Some was on the couch, some of the floor, and plenty was on us! :P Bits and pieces of paper were lying around (Ooops. We were really messy!) We spent the first two hours bouncing off ideas until we decided that we absolutely had to start with something! And once the first stroke was on paper, things started to fall into place. :} We tried our best to deliver on paper, the outcome we had envisioned. :) Best friend stayed over on the night we made this poster and we didn’t sleep until 8.30 in the morning! *Phew*! :) It was worth every bit of effort :}
