I brought Popcorn out for her morning walk today and took along with us her favorite foodie. This was to encourage good walking habits such as walking beside the person holding the leash instead of walking ahead, stopping when the handler stops, and walking when the handler walks etc. :) I’m glad to say that bringing along treats really reinforces positive walking habits :) today’s walk with Poppers was a breeze! Yippee. I extended her walking time today as we didn’t get to bring Popcorn out yesterday due to errands that had to be done. So I woke up earlier this morning and took her on a 30 minute walk instead :). I found a pretty good route that Popcorn seems to enjoy :) One more new path for the pup! =) And like usual days, the last 100 meters was always a sprint towards the finishing line. :D She always knew it was coming. ;)

Today was a touch and go day, filled with only moments of Popcorn-interaction. I missed her quite a lot throughout the day.. I went out for lunch with my grandma and granddad after Popcorn’s walk, visited my sister after, headed home for a short while, played with Popcorn during this short while, headed back out with my parents, and then finally returned home at approximately 1030 pm. Oooo I really missed you my furball :) She greeted us one by one, tiny tail wagging, face almost like she was smiling, hopping about like a little bubble (mmm.. bubbles don’t hop.. o.O). I spent the next two hours playing fetch with her, giving her belly rubs, laying beside her.. :) She has a beautiful soul.. She does.. Whenever she accidentally holds my finger in her mouth thinking they are her soft toys (because my fingers happen to be there while she’s chewing her toy), Popcorn never chews down or hurts my hand; instead she licks them, almost like she’s saying sorry for any pain caused, or just moves on to chew a different spot. And even if I were to stuff my fingers between her tiny jaws, Popcorn would only lick them, or turn her head away; She never nibs me. :)

You’re gentle baby. Although you are playful, you play rough and grunt like a little boy, you’re always gentle with me, and that’s what I love about you. That’s why I trust you. :)

So after play time, I placed Popcorn back into her crate, and sat beside her. I didn’t want to leave her immediately or sit there staring at her (like a silent predator), so I kinda started singing to her my favorite song, and baby slowly dozed off to dreamland. :} ah I felt like a mommmy.. :D
