Best friend and I went crate shopping today! :P We finally decided on a chrome based 3 feet cage for Popcorn. :D We also got her Fish4dogs, teething toothpaste, a brush, training pee-pad, wee-wee spray, grooming wipes, leash, collar, food bowl, drinking holder, and chew toys! :P so much for just crate shopping =D I would also love to thank my best girlfriends for the wonderful birthday present of $100.00 – contributing to Popcorn Necessity Shopping Fund. Later in the night or more like wee hours in the morning at 2 a.m, I had thoughts about how to decorate and design Popcorn’s living space. :) Then it suddenly dawned on me that I wanted to make Popcorn a dog flap, that is, a door way which separated her sleeping area from her pee and poop area, with some kind of plastic flap. =D I hit the web and tried to find out where I could purchase a d.i.y dog flap. But to my surprise, none was available in any pet store around Singapore O.O yet there were plenty floating around in internationally based online stores. Some forums mentioned that I could hire a door maker to create a door especially for dogs, but that wasn’t what I wanted. I wasn’t going to give up though, I wanted this so much. So I took out my scrap book, and started improvising and designing. :P the best I could come up with was something that was made out of cardboard HAHA with a rectangular hole that was covered by a flexible plastic sheet. Yes, I knew that wasn’t nearly good enough. It wasn’t water-resistant. Totally water absorbent. =.= I knew I had to go out to get better materials and improve the design. So I set my alarm for 10 a.m the next morning, and I was going material hunting. ;)
